哥大应用语言学硕士，美国教育测评中心 (ETS) 研究员 | TESOL @Columbia University Teachers College, Researcher @ETS 我是一个语言爱好者。从小热爱学英语的我后来在哥伦比亚大学教育学院获得了英语语言教育的硕士学位，希望结合我的理论知识和实用我对帮助更多的英语学生。从学校毕业后，我还加入了权威的测评机构 ETS （设计和发布托福、GRE 考试的研究机构），担任产品研究员的一职。我从工作中了解到了更多对于语言学习的设计和评估方法。 As an ESL student in China, learning English was one of my favorite things growing up. We had English lessons at school, but my parents were particularly enthusiastic about spending a lot of their own time learning English with me; some tasks were really challenging. Being a learner of English myself has made me an empathetic and effective teacher. I am excited to work with you to reach your goals! 学习另一种语言不仅仅是学习相同事物的不同词汇，而是学习另一种思考事物的方式。我的教学理念是学习和练习结合、保证语言实用性、尊重个人特点。「语法」和「知识点」这些概念听起来是很枯燥的，但也是语言的载体。我会在提供这些“载体”的同时，让我的学生们把这些语法点通过练习和反馈，变成他们自己语言工具的一部分。比如，很多的传统教材（比如《新概念英语》）在语法点的进阶上做得好，但文章的话题往往已经脱离现在的生活。我的课堂在汲取传统教材的优势之外，还会让学生有很多机会来练习完成生活中的大小任务。每个学生在生活中的兴趣点可能都不一样。我会尽可能挖掘学生好奇的点，从而开启话题。这样可以促进学生多分享、输出、记录。 Along the way, I have come to value the following things more and more: to give wait time to the students, to help the students feel proud of their work, to invite them to collaborate and interact, and last but not least, to show curiosity to what each of them says. I look forward to revealing more joyful moments with my students in the English classroom. 我的课程内容采用互动性极强、以“完成语言任务”为主导的形式。上课过程中，我会与学生共同整理笔记，并通过课后作业来强化和巩固课堂所学知识。课程内容我的课程互动性很强，采用任务导向型教学法。这意味着我不会进行单向讲授，也不会要求学生进行机械练习。我们将共同完成各种交流任务。教学工具我一直使用Google文档，发现它在分享和记录笔记方面非常有用。此外，我也会灵活运用学生能够轻松获取的任何工具。
