Hi, I'm Tony, and I live in the northeastern part of Brazil—a place I absolutely love. I've always been passionate about learning new languages and have dedicated myself to continuously improving my skills.
I’m a very persistent person, and I enjoy traveling, exploring new cultures, languages, and places. I’m also a huge fan of pop music, anime, movies, and TV series.

I started my teaching career at the College of Engineering, helping first-year students with English. In 2016, while attending an English course at a language center, my teachers noticed my potential and often asked me to substitute for them, which I’ve been doing for the past five years.
I also provide private lessons to teenagers and beginner English learners, as well as Portuguese lessons for foreigners.

Tony is the best. In our conversation classes, he has an unbelievable amount of patience with me, and I'm really pleased with how he has adjusted the class to help meet my goals. I mainly need Portuguese to understand group chats and to gossip with in-laws, and Tony has adjusted the class to let me practice small talk and gossip while correcting my grammar and word usage. He also sent me super helpful tips about watching Telenovelas to practice daily language and help improve my listening skills. And after every class, he sends a homework assignment to review the words I learned in the class. I'm really pleased to be speaking so much in the class and to have a teacher who is super supportive. Even when my sentences syntactically explode, Tony is ready to save them and encourage me.
