I’ve been a student of Reiko-sensei for a while now, and I can say with confidence that she has some truly uncommon skills. First of all, she makes understanding Japanese feel almost like magic. When I took my first lesson, I was quite afraid I wouldn’t understand anything, as I hadn’t studied Japanese for many years and remembered very little. However, from the moment she started speaking, I was able to follow and understand everything. She used only Japanese, yet made it surprisingly easy to comprehend, and that alone improved my confidence. Now, I’m able to understand her even when she speaks quickly. Reiko-sensei has a very deep knowledge of Japanese grammar and is very good at explaining it. She also uses some visual materials that work perfectly with my learning preferences. She clearly has an extensive experience in teaching and is both hardworking and well-prepared.

What we like about Reiko’s classes is her passion and attention to details. My 11 yo has started taking Japanese lessons and his pronunciation and vocabulary is improving significantly from lesson to lesson. Ivan loves the way Reiko deliver the class. The materials she provides after each class are well-designed and structured. The classes are HIGHLY recommended for kids and teens as a very positive start with Japanese.

Reiko is energetic and upbeat. She's a very dedicated teacher, very focused on her students' progress. We really like her!

My Son has completed over 50 lesson with Reiko. He likes that her lessons are well thought out and she speaks to him entirely in Japanese. I can tell he is improving and I would highly recommend Reiko.
