Acabo de volver de dos semanas en Mexico y todo lo que puedo decirte es: hice todo 100% en español: inmigracion, restaurantes, museos, la farmacia... Incluso traduje una excursión en barco en el golfo de méxico para turistas estadounidenses porque era la única que podía comunicarse con el pescador/guía. I had whole political debates with chileans, made friends with a spanish girl & a Peruvian Man on a tour to Puebla.... I sat and made lunch conversation with mexican sisters and we talked for TWO hours straight! Los mexicanos no paraban de preguntarme: «si eres alemána, ¿por qué habla tan bien español? Suenas tan fluido!» (¡¡y yo me sentía realmente fluida!!) Un ENORME elogio para Lorena y sus lecciones. Ella hizo que mi tiempo en México fuera tan mágico con mi castellano. <3

Lorena adjusted her schedule to accommodate mine, a very good benefit. She was courteous and helpful. I am doing the long slog through the subjunctive which is very hard and seems to have a million rules and exceptions to rules. Lorena can explain all this in Spanish or English. Five Star all the way.

I have been taking lessons with Lorena for just over 6 months. I basically started from zero, and she has helped me tremendously. She is very engaging and has creative ideas to help you with areas where you struggle. She uses a variety of games and activities to grammar and vocabulary easier to understand and remember. She is also excellent at keeping a conversation going and making you feel comfortable while you learn. I would strongly encourage anyone who is considering a lesson to book one!

i have recommended lorena to 4 friends, because there is no better teacher at meeting you at your spanish level, while also slowly challenging your vocabularly and conjugation. she makes good conversation, has interesting visual aids that prompt discussion, and is especially good at dealing with spanglish -- the crazy phrases and words we use when we're learning spanish -- she can figure it out. you won't find a better teacher.

I had my first lesson although it was just a taster. It went well and I hope the rest will follow suit. 👌🏿
