I really enjoy the time I spend learning with you. Every lesson always seems to pass by so quickly, and I often feel that I haven’t learned enough and that my progress is much slower than I would like. But whenever I see you, I feel encouraged and regain the confidence to keep learning and moving forward. Thank you so much, teacher. I especially love your warm smile. It always makes me feel encouraged and gives me the motivation to keep going.

Chisato-sensei is a wonderful teacher! She is so kind and genuinely cares about my progress. She creates such a warm, supportive atmosphere that makes learning Japanese feel completely stress-free and fun. Her lessons are well-structured, and she provides plenty of great learning materials. I especially appreciate how well she documents everything during our class and creates great notes, which makes reviewing afterward so easy and helpful. I always look forward to our lessons!

I like how Chisato structures the lessons. The previous lesson is reviewed before moving onto the new material and the new material has plenty of opportunities to practice. Concepts and vocabulary from older lessons are sprinkled throughout newer ones which I have found to help with recall. Chisato is also a patient teacher and will check for understanding when a new topic is being introduced

5/5 stars. Chisato-san is always prepared with very helpful and approachable materials (useful for self study/review) and the overall class structure flows very naturally. She is excellent at pacing lessons faster or slower based on student comprehension of each section, and answers grammar/vocab questions simply and at a level I can understand. Chisato-san is always very personable and easy to learn from and I will be continuing to book lessons! As a complete beginner in Japanese, I highly recommend Chisato-san.
