Hi, I’m Natalie! I’m a native English speaker who loves meeting people from around the world and sharing stories through conversation. I was adopted from China as a baby and raised in the US, so English is my first language. I studied biology in college and now live in southwest Germany. I love drawing, painting, listening to podcasts, and experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen. Food is one of my favorite topics, so I’d love to hear about your favorite dishes, childhood meals, or local specialties!

Strong in listening and reading, but speaking still feels unnatural and difficult? That's normal, and it's exactly what we'll work on together. I'm a native American English speaker living in Germany, so I understand the challenges language learners face and know how to help you relax, make connections, and build your confidence step by step. I know it can be intimidating to speak your target language with a native speaker, and I’m here to make the experience relaxed, supportive, and fun. My teaching style is friendly, relaxed, and conversation-focused. I believe the best way to learn a language is by using it! English is everywhere, but real progress comes from actively speaking and listening. You can learn your grammar and practice verb conjugations, but conversation is what turns knowledge into real-life application and communication. I focus on easy, natural conversations that help you feel comfortable expressing yourself. I will support you in improving your vocabulary, pronunciation, and most importantly, your confidence!
