Hi, I’m Simone! I’m 30 years old and originally from Southern Italy, but I’ve been living in Turin for almost a decade now. I’ve spent a good part of that time teaching, and through that experience I’ve learned how to make lessons both effective and fun. My background is actually in science — I studied physics — but along the way I discovered a real passion for languages and linguistics. Since then, I’ve helped lots of students improve their Italian. Outside the classroom, I enjoy music, literature, and cooking, and I often incorporate these passions into my lessons to keep them lively and engaging. I can't wait to get started and look forward to sharing this learning journey with you :) I am a patient, friendly, and empathetic teacher, always attentive to my students’ needs. Thanks to my teaching experience in schools, I know how to tailor lessons to each individual and make learning both interesting and enjoyable. I strive to share my passion for the Italian language and the culture of my homeland, helping students feel motivated and confident as they learn. My lessons are tailored to the specific needs of each student. We can focus purely on conversation, discussing interesting and current topics, or have grammar lessons to strengthen language skills. Thanks to my experience as a school teacher, I can create personalized and engaging learning paths suitable for any level, making studying Italian both effective and enjoyable.

I enjoy my conversation classes (A2) with Simone a lot and would highly recommend working with him. He is an encouraging teacher, very friendly with a positive attitude. I'm learning useful expressions that are relevant to the topics we discuss and he explains them very well. Our lessons don't focus on grammar, but he is also able to explain grammatical topics on the fly (which I always find impressive when teachers can do that).
