I am 57 year old qualified teacher, born in South Africa. Teaching is my passion. I also love to take long runs and hikes. My husband and I do not have children of our own. We are married for 14 years now. We live in George, a town situated in the Garden Route. We follow a healthy lifestyle and have a positive out look on life.教学经验
I have a HDE qualification, that is a 4 year diploma in teaching. I love teaching languages, especially to foreign tongue users. I taught English to Chinese, Xhosa, and Afrikaans students. Currently I am teaching 2 Turkish students to speak Afrikaans. I draw up my own lessons, focusing on communication. Afrikaans is a relative new language and is 1 of the 11 official languages in South Africa. I am excited to teach the whole world about my mother tongue. 我提供的课程和我的教学风格
I believe in step by step learning and teaching. My lesson starts with "Keywords" which will be used in the lesson. Then I recap the new vocabulary and start building sentences and questions. The student has ample time to practice reading and writing while working through the lesson. I do Revision after every 3 or 4 lessons done.我的教学资料
