I am a native Danish speaker, originally from Northern Denmark, now residing in Padua, Italy, with my family. Prior to Italy, we spent four years in Poland, enriching our cultural experiences.
With a background in homeschooling my two sons—both of whom successfully passed their Danish language exams—I’ve witnessed firsthand the transformative power of personalized, one-on-one instruction. My eldest is now pursuing a degree in interior architecture, while the youngest continues his college education.

I cannot recommend Marianne enough, particularly to those who are complete beginners in Danish. From the first lesson, she was able to create a friendly and comfortable learning environment where I could try using the concepts she taught without fear of making mistakes. She is kind, patient, encouraging, and fun to learn from. As far as teaching method, Marianne uses a Danish textbook that ensures the lesson time feels structured. I am very thankful to be learning from her, and look forward to each of our lessons.

I have seen vast improvements in my Danish since I started taking lessons. I have grown much more comfortable with speaking, listening, and reading. She is very sweet and always has helpful advice, and recourses to fix the things I don't know how to do yet. I enjoy every lesson, and feel like I learn something new every time. I would highly recommend!
