Hi, my name is Maya. I am interested in art, music, and fitness. I grew up in China, studied in Europe and the U.S.. Now I'm living in Shenzhen, a city next to Hong Kong. "What is the value of China and the Chinese way of seeing the world?" This is something that I'm curious about.
I believe that curiosity is the best teacher. And you yourself is the most important teacher. Your reason and expectations for learning Chinese and attending the class are what's most important. Your effort will get you where you want to be. I'll be the company and support towards your goal.

I really enjoy my Mandarin lessons with Maya. She’s very organized and always makes tone practice a consistent part of every class, which has helped me a lot with pronunciation and confidence when speaking Chinese. The lessons are well-structured, with excellent materials and great cultural discussions. She’s fluent in English, which makes communication easy, and she’s always kind, patient, and attentive to my learning needs. I truly enjoy our classes! Thank you, Maya.

After a three year break I just had another class with teacher Maya. She is very patient, asks questions and adjusts to my Chinese level super well. Just like in my last review three years ago I highly recommend her as a Chinese teacher :)
