My name is Dorit, born and raised in Israel, and moved to the US as an adult, where I acquired 17 years of experience in teaching Hebrew as a second language. I have taught children from the age of 6 (1st grade) to 14 (8th grade), as well as teenagers and adults. I've also prepared children for the Regents exam which is a mastery exam and a requirement for college in NY. Over the years I have taught everything from one-on-one to big groups. I tailor my lessons to the student's individual needs and interests (food, history, science, etc.), and specialize in teaching about Israel as well. I tailor my classes to the individual student - the content and material I bring are chosen according to what you express interest in. So if you are interested in astronomy, we will learn Hebrew using astronomy; and if you want to read the Bible, we will do that. I really enjoy teaching people about Israel and Judaism, and so I also have an array of materials about these subjects. In addition I've created short recorded stories, accompanied by a PDF and a dictionary, where the student learns verb conjugation, sentence structure and vocabulary, while listening to stories.我提供的课程和我的教学风格
I am a people's person, and as such many of my students became my friends. However, I still make them work and advance their Hebrew. In our lessons we talk and we read. Homework is where we review and read and write.我的教学资料

Dorit.fitted the lesson spontaneously just according to my questions that.came up while.we were.speaking, reading and writing. The lesson met.exactly my expectations and requirements. Thanks.a lot. Dorit is a very.recommendable teacher aß far.as I am able.to say this just after.our first.lesson. She was punctual at.the screen and answered my question one.day before.our meeting.how I could prepare.the trial.lesson, as.I wanted.already in that first.meeting to start.learning. I immediately started.with my homework after.the lesson as.I was exited about.this competent way.of teaching and she.motivated me very.much so that, immediately after the lesson, I already started exercising with her material for 90 minutes.on my own,according to the hints.she gave to me and while I was cooking.my meal, I put.a little.note on the kitchen.counter to repeat my first.Hebrew sentence, consisting.of three.little words. The very detailed.material for beginners.I will gladly exercise.the language.with.joy.
