Hi my name is Jonah and I'm from Washington D.C.! I'm a very fun, exciting, and friendly person who truly loves learning languages. Thanks to amazing teachers, lots of hard work, and several awesome language tips that I've picked up along the way, I've been able to master 4 foreign languages in the past few years. Last year, I decided to build on my passion for learning languages by working as a Professor of English language in Russia, at a Russian University. There, I learned tons of new skills and methods to teach all different types of English language learners. Lets see how we can improve your English today!

I've always been fascinated by language, and I believe that while everyone learns differently there are some things that we can do to speed up the language learning process. During my time as an English language Professor, I saw what does and doesn't work with different types of students. I know that in order to keep students interested in learning you need to have more than just effective lessons, you also need to have engaging lessons. I truly believe that combining my fun, upbeat personality with my extensive experience in teaching will make me an effective teacher for all English language learners.

I've been a student for many years and understand just how long the language learning journey can be. I understand that it takes dedication and hard work to achieve your goals, and as a teacher I want to be there to support the students throughout this process. By focusing on speaking and listening abilities, we'll work rapidly to ensure you can actually communicate and interact with native English speakers. Using real time visuals and documents sharing devices --like google docs-- I'll make sure you are following along each step of the way. Lastly, drawing on the games and tricks that I used as a teacher in Russia, I'll be sure to keep our lessons engaging!
