Hello, everyone🙋‍♀️. My name is Kateryna, and I am an English teacher (though you've already guessed that). I have been working in this field for 5 years now (shocked at how quickly they flew by). During this time, I managed to: ✅ complete two master's degrees, ✅ work at English courses, ✅ provide tutoring, ✅ get a TESOL certification ✅ and for the third year now, I have been working at a public school. There was a year when all of this was happening simultaneously, and today, I have no idea how I managed to juggle it all.

教学经验

At the moment I am teaching General English at the state school. My short-term teaching purpose is to develop students’ vocabulary and to equip them with grammatical structures so that they make themselves understood everywhere. My long-term purpose is to develop their enthusiasm for learning English without me in order to feel free in different countries. I want them to understand that if they are fluent in English, they are able to open any door in the whole world.

I maintain communication with students 24/7. I find an individual approach to each student. During the lessons, I use interactive and modern teaching methods. I help to easily understand and learn grammar, enrich vocabulary, and develop communication skills. Throughout my work, I utilize various methodologies and audio/video materials. I use different teaching techniques in my lessons. Such as I have to deal with a secondary school students the main task during the lesson is to make them be interested in learning English and be active. In order to this I start my lesson with some eye-catching photo, video or even a quote of famous person.
