Great lesson! We spent the whole time just talking naturally, which turned out to be the best practice. We discovered we're both into skating, so the conversation flowed really easily and felt genuine. It's one thing to study Japanese from textbooks, but being able to hold a real, relaxed conversation about shared interests made a huge difference. Really enjoyed it — looking forward to the next one!

Luis-sensei has a very warm and friendly vibe that easily establishes rapport, making conversations flow naturally. As he mentioned, he is also a Japanese learner, yet despite being at a very high level, he remains humble and highly relatable—you're studying and learning not just with a teacher but a friend. Our conversations were so engaging and educational that I completely forgot about the time limit. 次の授業を楽しみ。ありがとうございます！

Luis is an excellent teacher. For me, I appreciate that he's always keeping the lessons fun and engaging while being attentive to areas of improvement. I believe students who are beginners or more advanced, can learn a lot from his classes. Enjoy!
