Hi, I’m Ilaria! I’m a native Italian speaker with a strong background in languages, starting from high school and continuing at the University of Verona and the Rovira i Virgili University in Tarragona, Spain. I’m passionate about animals, nature, traveling, and meeting new people. I love sharing my passions — especially languages, but also cinema and reading — and helping others discover the joy of learning. If you’re excited to learn Italian or Spanish, I’ll be your friendly guide, helping you gain confidence, speak with ease, and enjoy every step of the journey! A presto! ¡Hasta pronto! I believe that conversation is one of the most essential — and at the same time, most challenging — parts of learning a new language. I’d describe myself as a detail-oriented and somewhat perfectionist person. These traits have always pushed me to study deeply, but they’ve also sometimes made me feel like I never know enough: I know what it feels like to struggle, to feel stuck, or even frustrated when you can’t fully express yourself in another language. But don’t worry — learning never really ends, and the best part is often the journey itself, not the destination! I always try to adapt to each student’s needs and requests; the most important thing for me is to encourage you to speak as much as possible. No matter if you make mistakes (after all, who doesn’t?!). You’ll have the chance to express yourself at your own pace; in the meantime, I’ll be listening actively so I can take notes ...

She also shows genuine interest in my hobbies, which allows her to build lessons around topics that truly engage me and lead to meaningful conversations.
