Another really good lesson with ゆきえさん! We covered some new material while also reviewing what I’ve learned so far. The material is starting to get more challenging, but she always makes it much easier to understand and navigate. We practiced using different examples while also practicing my speaking skills. I’m really enjoying seeing my progress with each lesson! ありがとうございます！

It's been a couple weeks since I had class with Yukie Sensei, but today was a good one as well! The first half of the class was speaking practice/convo, covering several topics (movies, interesting foods we've tried, weddings/anniversaries, cruises, hobbies, anime). The second half of class was grammar! We went over the two ways of using ~sou desu based on if you have heard something or if you have seen something yourself and want to say something "looks like." After learning about it we went though some exercises together! I've been learning with Yukie Sensei for a year and a half now and I feel like I'm getting better! It's very exciting

Another great lesson with ゆきえさん! I recently started taking group Japanese classes at a university in addition to my lessons with her. Taking both has made me appreciate even more how much I enjoy my lessons with her! She does an amazing job personalizing each lesson to my level, interests, and needs, and I always feel comfortable practicing and speaking with her. An amazing teacher to study Japanese with! Patient, kind and great at teaching nuance within Japanese grammar. She allows me to make the grammar my own by explaining all the ways certain structures and verbs are used, and in which contexts. Paying more attention to things I find difficult. I've already learned so much only within 2 lessons! ゆきえせんせい, ありがとうございま !

Another great lesson with ゆきえさん! We had a great conversation today, which was really enjoyable and good practice. We then reviewed and continued where we left off in our last lesson. I really appreciate how comfortable and easy she makes it to practice speaking, even as a beginner. I’m really happy to have her as my teacher and always look forward to our lessons! ありがとうございます！

I’ve really been enjoying my lessons with ゆきえ先生! She’s patient, explains grammar really clearly, and gives you plenty of chances to actually use what you learn. She’s also given me a writing assignment and recommended some great resources as well. In our last lesson, we reread a Tadoku story I had picked out on my own, which really helped reinforce the vocab and grammar. The lessons are relaxed, interactive, and genuinely helpful. Definitely recommend her! ✨
