Maronel is the best! Each lesson is tailored toward my progress. She is patient and fun. The lessons are a personalized mix of grammar and sentence structure, but also fun things like reading or role-playing so it never gets boring or overwhelming. Highly recommend!

Maronel is an amazing teacher. She has been such an incredible help in teaching me Afrikaans so that I may communicate with my family. My stepson even wanted to start taking lessons from her after sitting in on one of my lessons, so we have him signed up and on his Afrikaans learning journey with her as well. Maronel is fantastic. Good review of the prior learning and careful introduction of new vocabulary. She listens carefully and pitches the next lesson to your level. She is very good at finding your Goldilocks level.
