Hey there, my name is David. I'm a 20 year old linguistics student from Regensburg Germany. I love learning languages and learning about new cultures as well as making new friends all around the world :)

I am a very open and flexible teacher. I'd like to forge a connection with all my students. You can text me your preferences or what you would like to do beforehand. Whether it's an introduction to Bavarian cinema, an easy explanation of the German case system, or a deep dive into the phonology of southern German dialects. But I also love just chatting on a chill basis for little time. Whatever it is you are looking for, feel free to ask me for help.

I believe the best way to learn a language is not through meaningless grammar exercises (even if they are necessary sometimes) but through human interaction and an emotional connection with the speakers of a given language. Research shows, that we remember words better, if we have a meaningful memory connected to them. So, I try to have genuine conversations as early as possible and talk about what interests you, the student.

I have just completed a trial lesson with David and it was exactly what I wanted. I was looking for a more relaxed and free flowing conversation which he got it spot on. During the lesson he would help me with sentences I could have said in a more natural way which is gain what I had asked for. David was very polite, fun and it was a real joy to chat with. I will be booking more sessions with him.
