Hi, my name is Joy, a native Swahili speaker from Kenya with a background in Mass Communication and Public Relations. I have strong communication skills and enjoy connecting with people from different cultures. I teach Swahili in a simple, practical, and engaging way, creating a relaxed environment where students feel comfortable speaking and making mistakes. I believe language learning should be fun, interactive, and useful in real-life situations. As a patient and supportive teacher, I focus on building your confidence step by step through conversation and consistent practice. My lessons are tailored to your goals and level and you will progress comfortably and effectively. As a teacher, I am patient, supportive, and easy to talk to. I understand that learning a new language can feel challenging, so I create a conversational and comfortable environment where students feel confident to speak and make mistakes. I focus on building your confidence step by step and always encourage you to practice speaking as much as possible. My goal is to help you feel natural and confident when speaking Swahili in everyday conversations. My lessons are simple, interactive, conversational and tailored depending on your goals.
