Sonita is a *fantastic* teacher. She is patient, encouraging, clear in her explanations, and willing to pivot to cover the topics I request (i.e., I asked to split the lessons between reading/writing practice and learning commonly-used Dari expressions, greetings, etc). HIGHLY recommend!

She was great, she had prepared a lesson about traveling in Iran as I had requested, but in fact we had such a nice conversation that we left it for next week. She’s really great and I had a lot of opportunities to express myself in Persian.

I’ve had a few classes with Sonita for Dari conversation practice. She is funny and sweet to talk with. Also a great listener and she corrects my pronunciation and mistakes and gives me better vocabulary to use. When we started classes, I already knew a decent amount of Dari so we haven’t done any structured grammar lessons as I don’t think I need them but as far as conversation practice, Sonita is a joy to practice with :)

As our lessons are continuing, my two boys are enjoying the sessions more. Sonita is very patient and thorough with her explanations.
