Shai is truly an awesome tutor. I honestly always look forward to our weekly lessons (we've been meeting for a year now). He's really helped me with my flow in Hebrew conversation. He's also a very thoughtful, engaging, and kind tutor. I'd highly recommend Shai for Hebrew lessons!

Shai is an amazing teacher that I would recommend to anyone without hesitation! I am always excited for our classes because by now it feels just like chatting with a friend rather than a teacher:) I am loving to learn with Shai and observed that I am learning hebrew a bit comparable to how a chid learns a language. Shai guides me to emerge into the language and the culture and the improvement comes natrually. He gives great feedback and can answer all my questions with a smile. I've had a fair amount of lessons with Shai now, and he is a really good teacher. He uses a wide range of materials which help in different ways and my speaking has improved so much since I started learning with him. For the first time in years on my last trip to Israel, I actually managed to speak more than very basic Hebrew in places where there did not speak English. I'd fully recommend learning with Shai to anyone considering learning Hebrew

If you want to learn Hebrew fast, I highly recommend you do Ulpan-style lessons with Shai. Shai and I meet for 4 lessons a week for 90 minutes at a time. In less than a month, he has taught me so much that I can now speak understandable sentences expressing general small talk, the structure of my day and week, hobbies, food, actions, things I am looking forward to, interests, descriptions of people/life/family/the world around me, times, number counts with time/items, ask questions in conversation, and so much more. I have also gained significant confidence speaking outside of our sessions in Hebrew. I am now proud to show off my Hebrew and practice it with others. When I came to Shai, I was a beginner knowing little Hebrew. It is astounding how much progress I have made in less than a month. If you really want to learn Hebrew, Shai is your guy. Thank you, Shai :)
