I specialize in helping learners *think* in German—not just memorize.

As a teacher I believe in guiding the learner in an informed, open, and authentic way, with the emphasis on the personal connection and the shared human experience.
My experience is made up of several years of language learning, language teaching (university and private lessons) as well as my background of linguistics, foreign language pedagogy, and literary studies. I'm a part-time university instructor who enjoys the one-on-one teaching experience italki is offering.
