I hold a B.Sc. in Sociology and a language teaching certification, giving me a strong foundation in communication and learning. I am an experienced American Sign Language (ASL) tutor, translator, and interpreter, working with diverse Deaf individuals, including children in Deaf schools. I have collaborated with government organizations in Nigeria and work globally as a freelancer, promoting inclusion and equal communication access. My teaching approach is flexible, interactive, and student-focused. I tailor lessons to each learner’s goals, combining structured learning with real-life practice in a supportive environment. My 7 year old had her first ASL class today with Edosa and it went very well! Edosa assessed my daughter’s skill to understand where she needs to start with her and how she can best personalize the class. She also taught my daughter a couple new signs to practice and proposed a “gameplan” for our future lessons! We look forward to learning more with Edosa! 😊
