Ciao! I'm Chiara, a native Italian teacher, translator and language enthusiast. I believe the most beautiful moment in language learning is when **grammar stops feeling like a rule and starts feeling like a tool** — and that's exactly what I work towards with every student.
Many learners come to me after feeling stuck: they've tried apps and courses, they recognise patterns, but when it's time to speak, they freeze. My method is built around **grammar as a foundation and conversation as the goal** — using structured, carefully selected textbooks, then turning that knowledge into real, confident communication.
I hold a Master's in Translation Studies and a postgraduate Master's in Teaching Italian as a Foreign Language. I also run **SosItalian**, a blog about Italian language and culture, and work as an English-to-Italian translator.
I've taught children, teenagers and adults online since 2015, guiding students from all over the world. I know where the difficulties are — and how to help you overcome them.
I can help you: start from zero · improve fluency · strengthen grammar · prepare for CILS/CELI exams · learn Italian for travel or everyday life.
Real progress is a two-way street — lessons are where we build together, but the magic happens when you practise every day too.

Chiara is a very laid back and chatty conversation partner who gives great feedback/corrections in writing. It really is like talking to a friend! I have very much appreciated practicing my Italian with her, and I hope to continue in the future. I’m generally always very nervous before having to talk in Italian but once we get chatting I literally forget my nerves within minutes 😊 Chiara has also provided me with texts on interesting topics in advance, which is a great service.
