I have currently studied with her for six weeks I think. Each lesson we have dedicated the first half for free conversation and the second half for grammar study using materials provided by her. The conversations feel as natural as they can with my currently still very broken japanese. However, after every session I can feel my Japanese level rapidly progressing. She writes down all the new vocabulary and grammar in the chat which I then export to my SRS application for further review. Whenever I stumble, she first patiently lets me finish the sentence on my own, then responds, and also provides feedback on how I could actually create the sentence naturally with clear explanations. Whenever I have any questions, she responds promptly and thoroughly. Overall, the lessons feel very supportive and, most importantly, fun. I can definitely recommend her to anyone, and especially to anyone looking to improve their conversational skill levels. Thank you so much and see you next week!

Hana has been very helpful, assisting through my various areas of interest and needs. This has included working on the JLPT, preparing job applications, or simply talking about my daily life and my hobbies. I really appreciate her help and I recommend her as a teacher!

I have been taking lessons with Hana now 2x a week for a few months. We spend the first half in free conversation and the second half in a structured learning following the Genki textbooks, but Hana provides her own PPTs and examples. This is really helpful as I can do the textbook portion on my own, but provide more realistic (Genki is written towards a lot of student scenarios) and additional examples as well as ask questions for clarity with Hana. She provides all vocab and Kanji I do not know in the chat so i can reference after the lessons. I still have a long way to go, but forming sentences which was the hardest part for me and i can finally see that it is all coming together with Hana's teaching. I look forward to more lessons in the future.

I highly recommend Hana-sama as a Japanese Sensei for any Japanese learner. She was very kind, patient, engaging, and helped create a very safe atmosphere for a beginner like me. She asks great questions and allows for free speak plus gently correcting. I can't wait to have another lesson with her :)

It was nice to talk with Hana again after some time. The lesson was relaxed and conversation-focused, which gave me good speaking practice. Hana is patient and supportive, and I found her written notes in the chat very helpful for reviewing vocabulary after the lesson.

The lesson was technically correct but the teacher lacked engagement, didn't speak clearly and the lesson was pretty dull, she didn't give examples either, we just went through the textbook. I could have done it alone. I will continue looking for a fitting teacher.
