The best way to start a Monday morning. I must have had 10 teachers on Italki (all of them very good) but Chika is by far the best.

Chika is an energetic, joyful teacher who makes every lesson genuinely fun and engaging. Conversations feel natural and relaxed, which makes it easy to speak and inspires me to use new grammar. What truly sets her apart is how she corrects mistakes. Her corrections are clear, encouraging and motivating. Learning always feels positive. Her wonderful balance of warmth and precision makes her an exceptional language teacher. I always leave her classes feeling more confident. I highly recommend her for Japanese learners of all ages.

Excellent lessons! Very patient while giving great advice. Gives ample time for talking while also explaining new words or cultural points clearly. Amazing teacher!

Chika is such a great teacher! I returned to Japanese after a long break and she helped me recall a lot of what I thought I lost, as well as encouraged me.
