I don't even know where to start here... Yun-san possesses certain type of Japanese teaching magic, I can't explain her teaching style in any other way. She only asked me a couple questions about my learning goals and then immediately came up with the lesson plan that develops some Japanese speaking muscles I never even knew existed!! I looked for the way to overcome my language learning issues for so long and Yun-san came up with the solution immediately. I am genuinely in awe of her teaching style and, despite that I feel like finishing marathon after each lesson, I want to have more and more! Absolutely awesome teacher, absolutely amazing approach, thank you so so very much!!

I am always looking forward for every new lesson with Yun-san. Yun-san is very supportive, encouraging and makes you feel at ease even if you are a beginner like me. I am very impressed with her ability to recognize student needs and customize the content and teaching style accordingly. You are always challenged during her lesson but she always supplements new topics with variety of exercises and materials which help you to understand, process and overcome this challenge. And Yun-san is consistently generous with the praise she gives out to her student after the challenge is completed. Japanese language is very contextual and Yun-san is doing an amazing job in explaining the context and nuances of all the new words and grammar that she teaches. On the personal preference note, I really enjoy her shadowing exercises which I find very helpful for getting more comfortable with the music of the language. Overall every lesson is a pure joy! Thanks, Yun-san, I am very inspired to continue!

I love studying with Yun! We always have fun and she is so patient and kind. When speaking with her I feel safe and comfortable to try my best even when I'm struggling. When I need something repeated a lot of times, or I'm taking a really long time to gather my words, Yun is warm and supportive. She slows down as much as I need but also never stops challenging me. Our sessions are exactly what I need and I feel lucky to have found such a caring teacher that understands my goals and is helping me reach them.

Today we read a short passage and really focused on a couple of words. Yun sensei corrected me on my pronunciation and got me to make answer questions about the words, make sentences and repeat after her to practice my listening. I definitely won’t be forgetting those words after all that practice! Thank you ☺️

I had my first lesson with Yun-san, and it was a great experience! During the first lesson, she used a range of exercises to assess my current level and identify areas where I could improve. The exercises were challenging, but they really highlighted the areas I need to work on. I also really appreciated how she asked what I wanted to focus on and customised the lesson around my goals. For me, I wanted to focus more on JLPT content. I’m looking forward to continuing my lessons with her!
