Riley

I wanted to have a few classes with Riley before posting a testimony. He’s kind and has great listening skills. And while kindness is always appreciated, I think it’s the listening that really makes the difference when it comes to teaching. I had tried a few other teachers before him, just to get a sense of different styles, and some showed signs of impatience or seemed more focused on talking than listening. Which is fine, but when you’re practicing, what you really need is someone who listens, corrects, and stays aware of the communication between both of you — and Riley does that very well.

Riley’s an awesome teacher — super chill and open to talking about anything. He’s great at switching things up when needed and made me feel totally comfortable from day one. He’s super organized and really listens when I speak. Can’t recommend him enough!
