I am a native English speaker from the United States with a TESOL certification and academic degrees in law, economics, and international affairs. This diverse educational background equips me with a strong foundation in global communication and cross-cultural understanding. I am deeply committed to teaching and take pride in helping learners achieve their personal and professional goals—whether they are advancing in their careers, rebuilding their lives, or exploring literature more deeply. My teaching style focuses on building confidence in reading and vocabulary, making English a practical, empowering tool for every student I work with.教学经验
I have been teaching English since 2006. My first teaching experience was as a volunteer in Thailand, where I supported refugees in developing their English skills to prepare for resettlement. After returning to the United States, I continued this work by volunteering with a local literacy organization, offering one-on-one instruction to refugees and other immigrants. I also spent several years volunteering online with a nonprofit that supports women professionals in developing countries, helping them strengthen their English for career advancement. These experiences have shaped my student-centered approach and deepened my commitment to making language learning a pathway to opportunity.我提供的课程和我的教学风格
I offer reading and conversation courses tailored to different proficiency levels:
Facilitated Reading: Designed for students who enjoy reading aloud and working with graded texts suited to their level. Lessons include guided reading and vocabulary support.
Materials are provided.
Independent Reading: Ideal for advanced students who prefer to read on their own and engage in in-depth discussion during lessons.
Students select and acquire their own reading materials.
Guided Conversation: For students looking to improve fluency, accuracy, and confidence in spoken English. Lessons focus on vocabulary expansion, natural expression, and clear communication.我的教学资料
