Hi! I’m Wayne—an experienced English teacher from England and a stand-up comedian. I’ve spent over 12 years teaching in France, China, and Vietnam, working with learners from all backgrounds. My passion is making English learning engaging, fun, and practical for real-world success. Outside the classroom, I love performing stand-up and drawing inspiration from everyday life and humor. I hold a TESOL certificate and an International Post Graduate Diploma in TESOL/TEFL, specializing in Business English, Young Learners, and Education Management. My career has focused on helping students gain confidence, prepare for exams (IELTS/TOEFL), polish CVs, and thrive in business or academic settings. As a comedian, I understand how nerves affect communication—so I use humor and support to help learners feel relaxed and confident. My lessons blend communicative, task-based learning with plenty of humor and storytelling. Whether you want to refine your accent, master idioms and phrasal verbs, or succeed in job interviews, I tailor each session to your goals. Expect lessons that are interactive, practical, and filled with real English for work, study, and daily life.
