Hello! Bonjour! Привет!
I'm a native speaker and certified teacher. Since I'm multilingual and have a Belgian wife, I can appreciate the difficulties you might encounter when learning Norwegian. Having professional experience tutoring both teenagers and adult refugees, I can help you communicate effectively with native Norwegians.
When I'm not working, I spend time with my family and our cat, play computer games and listen to music. Being a trained historian, I occasionally write articles for military history magazines. Previously, I have also worked professionally as a genealogist, and continue to do research on my family tree. I have ancestry from Norway, Sweden, Finland and Germany.教学经验
Since I'm also an enthusiastic language learner myself, I have a lot of knowledge about efficient learning methods. I like to encourage a positive and curious attitude about the language. I emphasize humor, curiosity and a relaxed setting. We can work in a structured and organized manner by using a text book, but we can also just talk about culture and everyday topics.我提供的课程和我的教学风格
It's important to put in the effort and develop healthy routines as a learner. As a teacher I will offer you a structured approach with professional materials, such as a beginner's book we will work on together. We also work on image files, podcasts, articles, music and homework.
However, at the same time it's important not to stifle your curiosity with too much structure. In my experience, the students who have the most success, are also the most curious ones. That is why I will give you relevant questions at your level to encourage you to practice speaking Norwegian.我的教学资料

学士 - PedagogyIn 2016 I completed a one-year programme in "Practical Teaching Training - Pedagogical Knowledge". This certifies me as a teacher in Norwegian schools from grade 5-13, i.e. from Middle School to Upper Secondary School.

学士 - FrenchFrom 2019 to 2021 I completed a one-year programme in French. I'm certified to teach this language in the Norwegian school system since I've also completed a one-year programme in "Practical Teaching Training - Pedagogical Knowledge".

学士 - Scandinavian Language and LiteratureIncluded in my bachelor's degree in history is a one-year programme in "Scandinavian Language and Literature". Since I also completed a one-year programme in "Practical Teaching Training - Pedagogical Knowledge" in 2016, I'm qualified to teach Norwegian.
2008 - 2009
学士 - DutchIn 2008-2009 I completed the "Preparatory one-year Dutch Programme" at Universiteit van Antwerpen, a fulltime preparatory programme for academic study in Flanders. I passed all exams (greatest distinction).

学士 - HistoryI studied general history from the antiquity to the modern period with an emphasis on Europe and North-America. I also completed a one-year programme in Scandinavian Language and Literature.

I’ve been taking lessons with Ragnar for well over a year now and I couldn’t recommend him more strongly. He’s open, incredibly patient and easy to talk to. I feel so much more confident about my Norwegian skills today than I did a year ago and Ragnar played a large part in that.

It's crystal clear that Ragnar is a proper teacher, and a good one at that. He speaks clearly and listens intently, providing feedback in real time and taking notes for me to improve, while also sharing free materials and explaining concepts about the Norwegian culture as we go along.

Ragnar is simply a fantastic teacher. I had to learn as much Norwegian as possible within a very limited amount of time and he always made me feel very supported and understood. Every lesson I was given resources to learn from, and he always encouraged me in a way which made me feel comfortable to talk, no matter the mistakes. I would most definitely recommend him, as he is a very compassionate and understanding teacher, who is always giving his best to the student. Tusen takk for alt, Ragnar!

I have had some sessions with Ragnar and he has been effective and helpful in my learning, I feel like I have found my type of teacher after some trial and error, he is patient, he is knowledgable, knows when to correct you, and his tips are helpful on how to study Norwegian. I highly recommend him.
