Greetings! ESL teacher with 10+ years of experience here. I am bilingual which means I grew up speaking 2 languages. Language learning is my passion - as you can see, I am still in the process of acquiring additional languages. I am positive, and I have a fun life which I love. My next goal is to get to C1 level in German, move to a tropical country, teach online, and maybe bartend. I'm also considering going back to a university again.教学经验
My focus is specifically on listening, speaking, and pronunciation skills. I am passionate about helping students who still struggle with these, despite trying to learn English for years. This is a big problem for students from East and Central Europe who I have most experience working with.
I will quickly pull you out of this language limbo and help you grow your level. Currently, I do not offer lessons for beginners and for children.
I hold a Bachelor's degree and a Master's degree from the U.S., during which I was lucky to be able to receive some teaching training.我提供的课程和我的教学风格
I have been teaching for 10+ years as a paid teacher and a volunteer. My way of teaching is full language immersion - what is that? For example, even if you use a different language during the lesson, I will keep speaking English to you and/or encourage you to rephrase your thought with a simple English sentence. Or, instead of translating a word directly into your language, I will try to find a synonym or show you a picture.
So no switching, and no translating.
This is a great strategy to immerse you into the language fully, put your brain under pressure and out of your comfort zone, therefore forcing you to understand more and more each time.我的教学资料
