Multilingual French Tutor with 5+ Years of Experience in Japan ! Bonjour! My name is Mélissa, and I come from the Normandy region in France! I have always been a language lover, which led me to major in Japanese at university. I currently work in the tourism industry in Japan, where I have the opportunity to meet people from all over the world! In the past, I also worked at a Japanese Embassy, and even became a regular commentator on a Japanese local TV show! My international experience also extends beyond Japan, as I have lived in Australia and traveled to many countries. I especially enjoy discovering different cultures, spending time in nature, and outdoor activities. My goal is to help you learn French in a fun and relaxed atmosphere, so do not feel pressured if you struggle to express yourself. I am very patient, and I can always give you hints if needed. I personally struggled a lot while learning Japanese at university because I often felt pressured in class, so I completely understand the challenges and feelings that can come with learning a new language. I also believe that language learning is not always a straight path, and it is completely normal to forget even basic vocabulary sometimes. Do not hesitate to ask me the same vocabulary again, even if you have already asked several times! To make our lessons more comfortable and enjoyable for both of us, I recommend having at least basic conversational skills before booking the lesson.
