Bonjour, je m’appelle Jean-Baptiste! I’m a French teacher from Nice, on the sunny French Riviera, and I also love exploring the world through my filmmaker and photographer hats.
I’ve always believed that learning a language is one of the most exciting ways to open the world. After studying History and Geography in Lyon, I focused on storytelling and traveled to 30 countries, from the turquoise shores of Greece to the vibrant streets of India. Along the way, I discovered how much I enjoy helping curious minds unlock the beauty of French, through culture, conversation, or everyday life.

I highly recommend Jean-Baptiste as a French teacher. He is always punctual, responds quickly to messages, and is incredibly supportive and accommodating. It’s clear that he genuinely cares about his students’ progress.
His mastery of French is exceptional, and his accent is clear and neutral, making him very easy to understand. What truly sets him apart is his creativity—he goes beyond the standard textbook approach and brings engaging topics and fresh ideas to every lesson. He is also open to suggestions and adapts each class to my goals and interests.
Our lessons truly fly by. There is always something interesting to discuss, and I learn so much in every session without feeling overwhelmed. I’ve made real progress in both confidence and fluency since starting lessons with him. I finish each class feeling motivated and excited for the next one.
Jean-Baptiste is kind, patient, flexible, and highly knowledgeable. I recommend him to anyone seeking effective and engaging French lessons!

It is always a pleasure to take lessons with Jean-Baptiste! My improvement from my perspective has been nothing short of incredible. Only a month ago I could barely introduce myself. Now, lessons have become a place for me to express much more complex ideas and involve significantly higher level exchanges with Jean.
