I have enjoyed teaching for 20 + years with 10 years on italki. Wow!! I’m so happy to have the opportunity to teach in an international community of language learners. I’m also learning a second language so I understand the confusion, frustration and the absolute joy of finally understanding. I feel that giving my support, guidance and attention to my students needs are my priority. Conversation is where we find our comfort level with other people. I try and provide a supportive, laid back, easy but fun style of communication. I don’t immediately make corrections while my students are talking. I will usually just repeat what was said as part of the ongoing conversation. I have learned to trust the ability of my students to catch the corrections and then self correct themselves. Although, I will make a stronger effort to show a correction if I hear a habit of using incorrect vocabulary. My priority is to get to know and understand the needs of each individual student so that I can provide an enjoyable annd productive learning adventure.5.0

I have been taking lessons with Kym for more than one year. She is knowledgeable, energetic and supportive. She understands the difficulties that English learners endure. But what I really like about her is the way she leads the classes. She focuses on what student is interested in, and then talk about it from different perspectives. She always raises interesting topics and asks smart questions which help me to talk more during the class. She always surprises me with her broad knowledge and deep experience.

The best teacher i ever worked with. I have been talking with Kym for one year and 4 months. One hour is like 5 minutes when you talk to her. Very clever, educated woman. We can talk about politics, love, family, travels, life and even business. I can't wait my next lesson with Kym. Can advise her like very positive person who would help you with English and make your studding fun and easy.
