Salam! I’m Dahlia, a certified Arabic teacher . With 2000+ hours of experience, I make Modern Standard and Egyptian Arabic fun and accessible—for all levels and ages ! This was my first lesson with Dahlia and it was practical. She checked what I already knew in terms of letters, harakat, short and long vowels before moving into reading practice. The, we moved onto our next practise. This part of the lesson was relevant and practical- common greetings that are used in Egypt, both formal and more colloquial. Dahlia also explained to me an easy way to remember the difference between male and female words. My homework is to revise my notes from the lessons, and start using these common everyday greetings and terms in my everyday conversations. Very relevant.

This is a lesson for my daughter. She is learning Arabic for the first time and the teacher was very kind and explained very well. My daughter enjoyed class with her. In addition, she found materials on YouTube for my daughter to practice on her own. My daughter wants to continue learning Arabic with her!
