As a teacher, I am patient and always willing to listen. I deeply respect my students and believe that corrections, when done respectfully, can be a great learning tool. My sense of humor helps break the ice and create a friendly and welcoming atmosphere in the classroom. In my classes, I like to teach conversationally, making it seem like you are talking to a good friend. However, I am always attentive to the weaknesses and strengths of my students to adapt to their needs. The classes can be conversational, but I can also prepare in advance to explain grammar and use different didactic or interactive means to learn. If necessary, I follow a topic structure. I truly enjoy working with Genesis. She is fun, patient, energetic and kind. I always enjoy are conversations and learning new vocabulary and things about Venezuelan culture. Genesis is truly a GEM to have as a Spanish teacher. 💎

Genesis is very lovely. I have had several trial lessons with other tutors on iTalki and she is one of the nicest and smartest teachers I’ve met. She speaks both Spanish and English fluently, which made the lesson easy and fun. I enjoyed my trial lesson with her. She’s very caring, patient and friendly. I really look forward to working with her as my Spanish teacher.
