I have had a couple lessons with Mónica now, and I can't say enough wonderful things about her. I have chosen conversation classes, and she is extremely friendly, easy to talk to, and patient. The conversations flow very naturally and are not one-sided. She asks open ended questions to give the student a chance to talk, but when you ask a question she also answered is a very interested way that provides detail and opportunities for the student to listen. She comes prepared with great materials to facilitate the conversations, but is more than willing to let the conversation just take a natural course. She also listens to the needs of the student and provides the type of feedback that they enjoy.

Monica is such a sweet person and really listened to what I need help with in my Spanish lessons. She took that info and made adorable canva presentations customized for me which I really thought was a beautiful attention to detail and not just a cookie cutter lesson plan. She has a fun energy, is patient and I look forward to learning more with her

I have completed 20 lessons with Monica. Everything I enjoyed about our classes from the beginning has continued. She is friendly, easy to talk to, and patient. Monica is the type of person that you actually want to sit down and talk with a lot, which is absolutely necessary with a tutor. I book conversation classes, and the conversation is always wonderful. We begin with some spontaneous conversation, but Monica also always has materials to facilitate conversation, which is great because it gets me talking about things that I wouldn't normally gravitate towards, and it helps me acquire new vocabulary and grammar. When I have questions, her explanations are fantastic. Over the past 20 lessons, I can say without a doubt that my comprehension and production have improved.
