Hi! I’m Manon, a French native from the Alps, now living in sunny Marseille.
Languages have always fascinated me. I’m currently learning Swedish (hej!), will refresh my Spanish, and have some basics in Italian. I love the little “aha!” moments and the joy of making progress, it’s what drew me to teaching in the first place.
I once lived in Finland as an au pair, an experience that deepened my love for languages and cultural exchange, and I taught cello for a few years to students of all ages, which taught me how to adapt, encourage, and support each learner.
My goal is to make French feel natural, fun, and personal, so you can build confidence and enjoy every step of the journey!教学经验
I really believe the best way to remember a word is to use it, so we’ll talk a lot. (Personally, I’ve never managed to learn anything from vocabulary lists or flashcards… but if that’s your thing, we can work with it, of course)
I know how hard it can be to learn a language: feeling stuck, lost, or unsure where to start. So my goal is to make you feel comfortable, supported, and to help you see real progress!
I adapt to your level, age, personality, and what works best for you. No pressure, no judgment, just a space where you can try, make mistakes, and keep moving forward.

In our first lesson, I’ll take the time to get to know you: your level, goals, pace, and what actually interests you. That way, I can shape the next lessons to fit you perfectly.
We’ll speak a lot, because that’s how words stick, but we’ll also work on your understanding. You’ll hear me speak, of course, but we’ll also use videos, audio clips, texts, and other fun tools to train your ear and build confidence.
Grammar and vocab will always be in context. You’ll learn how to talk about real, everyday things, not how to say “turtle” in the first five minutes (sorry, Duo 🦉).

Manon is a very inspiring teacher! Her lessons are always well prepared, her English language is excellent and everything is clear during the explanations of the grammar’s concepts! Furthermore she encourages her students to do their best in the class and her expertise about French language and culture is awesome! I love these classes! They're the missing piece to my French learning. I've been dabbling in learning on my own, but Manon is helping me to really focus on daily, concrete strategies like listening to podcasts and then summarizing, speaking about a topic daily, describing a trip during class, etc. I love that Manon provides structured exercises while also allowing the classes to adapt to my level, goals and interests. Highly recommend =)
