Hello! I’m Simon, a CELTA-qualified English teacher from England. My passion? Helping learners like you speak confidently in real-life situations—whether for travel, work, or daily chats. After years of exploring Spain, Ukraine, and now Türkiye (where I live!), I’ve mastered making English feel natural and fun. I've been teaching English for 8 years now. I spent a year teaching in Spain, two years in Ukraine and am now in my fifth year in Turkiye. I'm very open and friendly in class, my students always compliment me on the detail I go into when preparing my classes. My classes are all planned in advance with a specific focus for the lesson ahead. A typical class might start with an engaging topic from the week's news or something related to the students' hobbies/work. This topic will introduce the grammar point or vocab we'll be focusing on. From there we will do some activities and make any corrections together. The final half of the class will be dedicated to speaking, this is essential so the student feels confident using the new language in different scenarios. We will finish with a chance for the student to correct any errors they made during class. Homework is also provided我的教学资料
