Aura is an excellent professor. We have a focus for each class, and interactive activities. Aura also gives me relevant homework. For the past couple of classes, we have been working on the verb - Haber and "El perterito perfecto" and I am really starting to feel comfortable with this tense, and know how and when to use it. I look forward to our next class.

I absolutely love working with Professor Aura Luzmar! My whole life, I’ve had a sense of Spanish because my mother spoke it, but I never truly mastered it. I’ve had many teachers over the years, but no one has ever broken down the basics or helped me master pronunciation—especially those tricky double R’s—the way Aura has. From the start, she immediately picked up on my needs and focused on helping me rebuild my foundation, transforming my Spanish from a third-grade level to someone who can sound like a native speaker. I really appreciate her positive energy and compassion, especially because I’ve often been made fun of for not knowing my mother’s tongue. She creates such a supportive and encouraging environment that makes learning Spanish feel joyful and empowering.
