I live in South West England, in the county of Devon, and I love spending time in nature, learning languages, reading and playing piano.
I am very passionate about learning different languages and the benefit and enrichment it brings in terms of improved memory and focus, cultural competence, oppoutunities for volunteering, flexible thinking and transferable social skills. Recently, Ukrainian and Persian have been of particular importance to me, and I also studied Spanish at university to a C1 level.教学经验
I have been teaching since autumn 2023 and I always love to have the chance to help my students express themselves and gain the confidence and skills to get their ideas across to people. My experience in learning languages myself is an integral part of my teaching and for me it is vital to share my experiences with students so they know I appreciate their position and will be able to teach them both with empathy and tried-and-tested strategies. 我提供的课程和我的教学风格
I aim to help all students feel simultaneously relaxed and motivated and I offer a wide variety of lesson types, always personalising my lessons to each student. Lessons focus on a particular skills or skills until a certain level has been reached, upon which a new focus can be chosen. I give my students timelines of their expected progress and cover all topics and skills, ranging from pronunciation, vocabulary expansion and listening comprehension to understanding of the culture beind the language.我的教学资料

This is the first lesson with Karl after the trial. He is consistently diligent and well prepared.
He selected an article based on my interests. Guided me shadowing his pronoucation and corrected me when I made mistakes.
Which I appreciated most is that he asked me thoughtful questions to let me think actively instead of listen passively.

I really enjoyed the lesson! Karl is very professional in terms of language learning and teaching. During the lesson, he not only helped to correct my pronunciation and use of words, but also tried to guide me to express my opinions patiently. He's very friendly and encouraging as well, the whole lesson was very relaxing. I've learned a lot from just one lesson. Cheers!
