My name is Sheelah, and I’m a native Swahili speaker from Kenya. I’m passionate about languages, culture, and connecting with people from different parts of the world. I hold a degree in Sociology and have worked in community development, Communication, and education-focused roles.
In addition to Swahili, I also speak English fluently. I'm here to help you gain confidence in speaking Swahili, whether you're learning it for travel, Communication, or cultural understanding.
Karibu sana! (You’re very welcome!)
教学经验
As a teacher, I am patient, friendly, and flexible. I understand that everyone learns differently, so I adapt my lessons to your level, pace, and goals. I love creating a warm and supportive environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes and growing through practice.
I’ve worked as a peer educator, guiding young people in discussions around relationships, Communication, and health, and I often used English and Swahili in those sessions. That experience helped me build strong teaching and Communication skills.
我提供的课程和我的教学风格
My lessons are conversation-based, practical, and interactive. Whether you're a beginner or looking to improve your fluency, we will focus on useful vocabulary, sentence structure, grammar, and pronunciation.
I use real-life scenarios, visual aids, and storytelling to help you understand and remember new concepts. You’ll also learn about Swahili culture, common expressions, and local context to deepen your understanding.
Lessons are tailored just for you, whether you're learning for travel, work, or personal growth. Together, we’ll build your confidence and fluency step-by-step.
