Hi! I'm WooLee (우리), a native Korean tutor from Seoul, South Korea.
I started living as an expat and digital nomad in Australia, New Zealand, and beyond after graduating from university. Along the way, I made many international friends and ended up teaching them Korean for fun!
But I kept asking myself: why do so many learners struggle with Korean even after finishing Korean language school(어학당)? That question led me to start tutoring seriously.
My goal is simple:
Let's learn Korean beyond texts "practical, real, and fun"
We will cover everything from the basics like grammar & vocabulary to "real-life" Korean.

I studied at Yonsei University and scored top marks in both Korean and English. So if you want solid explanations of grammar and structure, I can definitely help with that.
At the same time, I like to keep things fun and practical. From essential vocabulary and grammar to natural expressions, slang, and pronunciation, I try to cover what you’ll actually use when speaking with Koreans.

Every student is different, and I tailor each lesson to your level and learning style. I use a wide range of materials from daily conversations and grammar drills to K-dramas, K-pop lyrics, and real-life slangs.
You'll get friendly but accurate feedback on grammar, fluency, pronunciation and more.
We'll also explore the subtle cultural and emotional meanings behind the language.

The class was fun.
We introduced ourselves, then we spoke more in depth about some of my interests. We even went through a Korean online forum, which was hysterical lol. He wrote down the words and expressions that I struggled with, gave me natural ways to convey my thoughts, and reviewed them with me before class ended.
He has a very warm personality, and I look forward to our next lesson.
