OTA KITAJIMA

It was such a pleasure meeting you for the first time today! Our conversation flowed so naturally, and we covered so many interesting topics—time really flew by. Ota さん，I truly enjoyed exchanging thoughts and stories with you, and I'm grateful for the meaningful and relaxed chat. Looking forward to the next time we can talk again!

In today’s lesson, at my request, we reviewed the phrases from my previous lesson while also working on my pronunciation. We then continued practicing introductions and explored the differences between casual and formal Japanese. Ota-san introduced useful new phrases and patiently answered my questions about more natural ways to express myself. His explanations are always clear, encouraging, and easy to follow, making learning both effective and enjoyable. Another wonderful lesson — I’m looking forward to the next one!

At my request, we continued working on self-introductions, and Ota-san introduced a lot of new vocabulary and phrases that were both practical and easy to remember. He took the time to explain the subtle differences in when to use certain expressions, such as in casual vs. less casual situations, which I found especially helpful. His teaching style is clear, encouraging, and very well paced for a beginner like me. Ota-san creates a relaxed atmosphere while still giving detailed corrections, which makes it easy to learn and build confidence. Another excellent lesson — I’m already looking forward to the next one!

In this lesson, we reviewed phrases from previous lessons and warmed up with some questions about the weather and what we’ve been doing recently. We then practiced role-playing polite ways to ask for things in everyday situations, such as at restaurants, hotels, and ticket offices. Ota-san explained everything clearly and patiently, giving helpful guidance while making the lesson enjoyable and easy to follow. His cheerful and supportive teaching style makes it comfortable to ask questions and try new expressions. Another fantastic lesson — I’m already looking forward to the next one!

Otasan is a very good teacher and easy to talk to. He is very patient, friendly and knowledgeable when teaching.

Ota-san has refined taste in games and anime. We talked about ひぐらしのなく頃に, serial experiments lain, and Gundam. Ota-san talks clearly and ensures that I understand the conversation. He helped me find confidence in my ability and encouraged me to tackle more difficult materials. I look forward to chatting with Ota-san again!
