Beginner-friendly native Korean tutor with a focus on casual, real-life conversation. Hi this is sungwoong choi, and I’m a native Korean speaker currently living in Canada. I studied Korean language and teaching methods during my university years and have a deep interest in language learning and cross-cultural communication. I enjoy meeting people from different backgrounds and sharing the beauty of the Korean language and culture. I have experience teaching Korean informally to friends and acquaintances from various countries. Through these experiences, I learned how to adapt to different learning styles and help students feel comfortable speaking Korean. I’m patient, supportive, and always open to questions — I believe making mistakes is a natural part of learning. My lessons are friendly and flexible. I focus on practical communication — we’ll cover useful grammar, vocabulary, and expressions that you can use in real-life situations. Whether you’re a complete beginner or someone who wants to improve your conversation skills, I’ll tailor the lesson to your needs. We can also talk about Korean culture, daily life, or K-pop if you’re interested!
