Hello, everyone. I'm Eli, from Brazil. Languages in general - and Portuguese in particular - have been a passion of mine since I was a kid. One thing you should also know about me... I wholeheartedly believe in learning for and through communication. The ability to talk to your friends and loved ones in their language is priceless. It can help you connect, and I can show you how to do that quickly and effectively.

As a language learner with over twenty years of experience, I am always looking for the best way to learn a language quickly and effectively. But I like to see how my students perform so that we can build on that.

I hope you enjoy talking. In our class, you will do a lot of speaking while I quietly correct you and provide phrases that will help you express your ideas more clearly and naturally. There is no mandatory homework, but I will tell you where you should go outside of class to improve your skills.

Japanese Teacher Training Program - Attain Corp. - 2019This program has ten parts. This is the first part, in which we learn about the characteristics of the Japanese language and how it interferes with learning.

Specialization in Translation - English and Portuguese - DBB - 2018This course requires a solid command of English and Portuguese. There were weekly reading, writing, and translation exercises that demanded a lot of the student; and monthly we had to translate a passage that was then corrected by our instructor with comments. I was approved and am now allowed to work as translator and translation supervisor.
