Yoshiko

Yoshiko san has been very supportive, helping me form sentences about different topics of interest and have real conversations despite my limited knowledge of Japanese. I enjoy our three lessons a week very much! Afterwards she also sends me a sheet with the Japanese phrases we discussed, which I add to my own notes for review.

This was my third class with Yoshiko-san and I’m really enjoying the lessons so far. She always brings materials and sets up situations to practice conversational Japanese, which makes the classes feel engaging. I also appreciate how she helps keep the conversation going when I get stuck . Even though I am still a beginner it’s been really helpful for building confidence speaking for my upcoming trip to Japan.

Lessons with Yoshiko-san are always great, as we always review the grammar points that I have recently learned from textbooks and put them into practise, which helps everything stick even better. These lessons are a perfect mix of grammar and conversations. Greatly recommended!
