¡Hola! I’m Patricia from La Rioja, Spain—a storyteller, philosophy lover, and your guide to *living* Spanish, not just learning it. My passion? Turning language into a vibrant tool for exploring ideas, from Hispanic literature to global debates. Whether we’re dissecting Luis Sepúlveda’s fables or debating current events, I help students *think* in Spanish while embracing its cultural soul. Based in Berlin (sunlight optional 😉), I recharge with hikes, books, and slow mornings—then bring that energy to lessons. Let’s make your Spanish journey as rich as a Riojan wine! What I love the most about my work as a teacher is the space we create where we focus on the tools we have and the ones we need in order to understand and comunicate with each other, to tell our stories and build our opinions. As I see it, it is not just about learning "words" and "grammar rules", it's about communicating, learning and building ideas. I also love seeing the developement in the learning process of my students. My background in Philosophy and my 10 years of experience as a non-formal educator have shaped a teaching style that combines critical thinking with creativity. I see language learning as a way to understand the world: geography, social movements, literature, art, and the stories we all carry. I also hold a Master’s degree in Language Didactics, which has deepened my interest in culture and communication. Aunque mis habilidades para hablar no son tan buenas como mis habilidades de comprensión, tu paciencia y la manera en que entiendes lo difícil que es aprender un idioma hacen que la conversación sea lo más agradable posible. Pareces ser una profesora muy preparada, capaz de sacar temas interesantes sin que la conversación se vuelva aburrida. divertí mucho hoy y espero que disfrutes el resto del fin de semana.

De vez en cuando me encuentro con una persona desconocida con quíen me siento tranquilo desde el principio. Patricia se cumplió ese rol. Puedo ser caótico en mi español pero ella me ayuda navegar ese mar peligroso. Gracias por me presentar a DH.
