Hi! I’m Lucy. It’s great to meet you here on italki 🍀.
I’m a native Chinese speaker and speak English fluently. I’ve lived abroad for several years, and I’ve been learning English for over twenty years, starting back in primary school in China. I know how challenging it can be to speak in front of others or find the right words because I learned English as a second language myself.
I’ve also studied French and Japanese just for fun, and those experiences taught me that passion and perseverance are really important when learning any language.
My academic background is in finance & accounting, which gives me a more organized, logical, and detail-oriented approach to learning and teaching.教学经验
I took the intensive CELTA course this year, which was an exciting step toward becoming a certified English teacher. Before teaching, I worked in auditing and web design, which gives me a unique perspective when teaching English🦄.

My teaching style is student-centered and communicative. I focus on speaking and listening, but also include reading, grammar, and vocabulary.
I like to use real-life topics, role-plays, and discussions, so students can practice English in ways that are useful for daily life.
I give feedback in a friendly way and encourage students to try without worrying too much about mistakes. My goal is to make students feel relaxed and motivated while learning English.我的教学资料
